Norfolk Chamber Music Festival
For over 100 years, music lovers have enjoyed concerts in the acoustically superb Music Shed performed by the world’s greatest musicians who spend their summers at the Ellen Battell Stoeckel Estate. As a program of the Yale School of Music, the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival continues this distinguished tradition each summer with outstanding concerts featuring world-class artists and ensembles from across the globe including the Brentano, Dover, Emerson, Miró, and St. Lawrence String Quartets.

Flashlight Corn Maze
A professionally designed and cut corn maze will be ready for you to explore any time between 5:00pm-8:00pm!
It is important to note that the corn maze is haunted after 7:00pm. The cost is $8 per person. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time from Wamogo FFA students or in the Wamogo Agriscience Office, or they can be purchased at Bunnell Farm the night of the event. This event is open to all friends, family and community members!
Please don't forget to bring your own flashlight!

Mary Beth Kaeser , her lovely imprinted Raven, Maven, and Gerri Griswold team up for a program devoted to the most intelligent bird brain in the world. Learn about these amazing corvids during a one hour presentation that not only teaches you about the nature of the Common Raven but also the impact it has had in culture and folklore through the centuries.

Steven Miller Opening Reception
The Gunn Memorial Library is pleased to announce the opening of a select group of recent paintings by the extraordinary colorist and New York City based contemporary abstract artist Steven Miller. Mr. Miller works in oils on canvas in combination with images inspired by nature. He works in a series of paintings, usually working on from two to three at a time.

Topsmead: A Journey Through Time
Join the Friends of Topsmead for their first ever fundraiser called, "Topsmead: A Journey Through Time." See how Topsmead has transformed from a private estate owned by Edith Morton Chase to the state forest that it is today. A photographic display will lead attendees through the journey. There will be a silent auction of artwork from area artists, and music of the 50s and 60s will entertain guests. Appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages also will be served.

A live broadcast of Philip Glass's AKHNATEN. Phelim McDermott, whose productions include the hugely successful Satyagraha by Philip Glass, returns to the Met with a new staging of Glass's Akhnaten, conducted by Karen Kamensek in her Met debut. Anthony Roth Costanzo sings the title role of the Egyptian pharaoh who attempted to inspire his people to adopt a new religion, abandoning the worship of the old gods for that of a single deity. In her Met debut, J'Nai Bridges sings the role of Nefertiti, Akhnaten's bride, and Dísella Lárusdóttir is Queen Tye, the pharaoh's mother.
